WhatsApp Chat Terms

  • Who we are. TenK Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI assistant you can chat with on WhatsApp.

    What we collect.
    When you message our WhatsApp number, we receive:

    • Your WhatsApp account ID and phone metadata supplied by WhatsApp.

    • The message content you send to the bot and the bot’s replies.

    How we use your data.
    We use your messages to:

    • Generate responses from our AI assistant, and

    • Operate, maintain, and secure the service.

    Where processing happens (third parties).

    • WhatsApp (Meta): Your messages are sent and stored by WhatsApp according to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.

    • AI model provider (OpenAI): We send message content to our AI provider to generate replies. Processing happens on their servers.

    What we store.
    We do not persist full chat transcripts on our own servers. For service operation, we store a minimal mapping between your WhatsApp ID and a conversation identifier used by our AI provider. Temporary logs may be generated for reliability and abuse prevention.

    Legal bases (where required).
    We process your data to perform the service you request (contract) and for our legitimate interests in running a secure, reliable chatbot (security/abuse prevention).

    Data retention.

    • We keep the minimal WhatsApp-ID → conversation-ID mapping while your conversation is active or as needed to operate the service.

    • WhatsApp and our AI provider may retain data under their own policies.

    Children’s data.
    Our service is not intended for children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country).

    Security.
    We use industry-standard measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method is 100% secure.

    Your rights & contact.
    Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us at account@tenkgroup.com and we’ll help.

  • 1. Acceptance. By messaging our WhatsApp number or using the chatbot, you agree to these Terms.

    2. Service description. The chatbot provides automated, AI-generated responses. The service may change, be suspended, or discontinued at any time.

    3. No professional advice. Responses are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. They may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions.

    4. Your responsibilities.
    You agree not to use the service to: (a) violate laws; (b) infringe others’ rights; (c) send spam, malware, or harmful content; or (d) attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

    5. User content. You are responsible for the messages you send. You grant us a limited license to process your messages to operate and improve the service.

    6. Third-party services. The service operates over WhatsApp and uses an AI provider. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

    7. Disclaimers. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED), INCLUDING ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

    8. Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE.

    9. Termination. We may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including violations of these Terms.

    10. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

  • WhatsApp messages. Messages you exchange are stored by WhatsApp under their own policies. To remove message copies from your device or WhatsApp’s systems, please use WhatsApp’s in-app tools or contact WhatsApp support.

    Data we hold. We do not keep full chat transcripts on our servers. We keep only a minimal key-value record linking your WhatsApp ID to an AI conversation ID used by our model provider.

    What we can delete. While we cannot erase data held by WhatsApp or our AI provider, we can delete the link between your WhatsApp ID and the conversation ID in our system. After we remove this link, the conversation cannot be retrieved or associated with you by us.

    How to request deletion:

    • Email support@tenkgroup.com with the phone number/email associated with your WhatsApp account.

    We will confirm and complete deletion of the link within 7 business days (or sooner where required by law).
